Hi everyone! Thank you very much for visiting Kuminy Room.  I am a Japanese self-publishing writer living in New York City and love to find cozy cafes, delicious foods, epic arts, and meet new people.

This city is always changing.  Asking what is new in NYC is like asking what is old in Kyoto.  There are countless new things to do every day.  How exciting is that?  As such, I started sharing the information that I think is  interesting on this website.

Although I have visited, and lived in, various cities in the world, I believe that New York is one of the rare cities that has almost everything (including people) from all over the world.  I have been meeting people who have different backgrounds since I came here.  I feel strongly about how important it is to have an open mind and expand my view.

NYは限界を感じさせない街。常に人も文化も全てが動いていて、住んでいても、自分の行動力次第で毎日のように新しい発見ができます。美味しい物も楽しい場所もいっぱい！外出することがこんなに楽しい街はありません。

そしてNYは私自身が『色々な常識を、考え方を楽しんでみよう！』という気持ちの大切さを再確認した場所。今まで沢山の都市を訪れましたが、こんなに様々な文化・バックグラウンドを持った人々と一度に触れ合える街はやっぱり珍しいと思うのです。違う世界や考え方を知り、理解することで、視野を最大限に広げられる街です。
